Peer Support for Psychiatric Drug Tapering

With you through withdrawal.
One bead and wave at a time.

Coming off psychiatric meds can be a lot to navigate. It’s not something most people really understand, unless they’ve been through it.I’m Jules. I spent over 20 years on psychiatric medications and went through the process of tapering off them—now 7 years without them. Not from the outside looking in, but living it, day by day.I understand the windows and waves that come with withdrawal—the stretches where things feel more manageable, and the ones where everything hits at once. And I understand that those waves aren’t relapse; they’re your nervous system recalibrating and trying to find its balance again. This is a space where you don’t have to explain everything from scratch. Where you don’t get corrected, managed, or talked over. A place to speak openly, make sense of what you’re feeling, and move at your own pace, without pressure or expectations. If you’re tapering and want support that respects your pace, you’re in the right place. This is peer support. I don’t offer tapering plans or medical advice, so if that’s what you’re looking for, this won’t be the right fit. This is real support. Conversation with someone who understands the uncertainty, the intensity, and everything that can come up along the way. My work is based on lived experience, not clinical training or coaching. No fixing. No pushing.Just someone who gets it.
